Join us this season

We love to sing! If you do too, there is a place for you in the Chorale. We are a volunteer ensemble who strives for artistic excellence, comprised of singers of all ages and experiences. We perform 2-3 concerts per season, and you are invited to join us for one or all of them. We perform a diverse repertoire consisting of many styles and time periods, seeking to create an inspiring and unique experience for our audience. The Metropolitan Chorale is a wonderful community of singers, and we invite you to join our family for the 2016-2017 season!

Rehearsals for our November concert begin on Monday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.

This Season...

Performances in the 2016-17 Season are sure to delight followers of the chorale. We begin this Fall with Franz Josef Haydn's "Theresienmesse," a large work with all Haydn's characteristic appeal. This Spring we will take on a lighter tone with a collection of works not to be missed! We feature composers such as Moses Hogen, Benjamin Britten, and John Rutter just to name a few.

Each concert (November and April) provides two hours of professional-grade, family-friendly, vocal ensemble music. You will be amazed at the sound and so glad you invested this time for your grandkids, your family or yourself.
